Summer Course 2023
James will be teaching at the Moulin de Cajarc in Cordes-sur-Ciel, near Toulouse as part of Accord Music's international courses. The course will run from 30th August - 4th September 2023.
Teaching will be a combination of English and French and it is an ideal course for those who are able to play both recorders in C and F and can sight read treble and bass clef well. The standard will be the equivalent of Grade 5-8+. Participants will come from across the globe.
There will be 2 sessions of ensemble playing each morning, while in the afternoons players have the choice of meeting in smaller groups, having individual coaching, participating in a masterclass or exploring the locality before the late afternoon session at 4.30pm.
There will be harpsichord and viola da gamba accompaniment available most days and at the end of the week an informal concert is held at either the Mill or in a local church.
